An intensive 3-day in-person workshop in Seaton covering ASIC teardowns, hashboard soldering diagnostics, control board flashing, 3-phase power balancing, and industrial CFM airflow design.

Who this program is for: Prospective and active mining operators, electrical apprentices, and renewable energy technicians seeking physical hardware competency.
Engineering Scope: Teardown, testing, and operation of contemporary SHA-256 and Scrypt ASIC units on live 415V 3-phase test benches.
Syllabus & Delivery Stages
Day 1: Electrical Safety & Unit Disassembly
High-current safety protocols, 240V/415V power supply unit (PSU) bench testing, complete chassis teardown, heatsink removal, and ultrasonic cleaning baths.
Day 2: Hashboard Diagnostics & Signal Tracing
Oscilloscope tracing of CLK, RST, BO, and RI test points. Identifying dead ASIC chips within series voltage domains, using hot-air rework stations, and applying conductive solder paste.
Day 3: Thermal Management, Firmware Tuning & Network Setup
Static pressure ducting calculations, CFM fan curve optimization, custom low-voltage firmware configuration, Stratum proxy networking, and immersion cooling vat maintenance.

Participant Logistics
Participants should wear enclosed leather work boots and comfortable natural-fiber clothing. Basic familiarity with multimeters is helpful but not mandatory.
Strict limit of 8 participants per cohort to ensure every student has their own dedicated power bench and diagnostic station.
