Station Specifications

Equipped for Hands-On Learning

We maintain eight identical, fully equipped stations so that every participant performs all procedures independently.

Digital Oscilloscopes

Rigol 50MHz dual-channel oscilloscopes equipped with 10:1 passive probes for tracing 25MHz high-frequency clock pulses, reset triggers, and serial bus traffic.

Micro-Rework Stations

Temperature-calibrated hot air guns with magnetic nozzles, stereo zoom microscopes, pre-heating plates, and low-temperature lead-free solder pastes.

415V 3-Phase Test Rig

Industrial sub-board featuring transparent polycarbonate covers, individual power analyzers, clamp meters, and Type B RCBO breaker trip simulation.

Immersion Cooling Vat

Single-phase dielectric fluid tank equipped with variable speed pump, brazed plate heat exchanger, fluid temperature telemetry, and viscosity sample testing kits.

Acoustic Testing Box

Dual-chamber sound attenuation box with interchangeable baffle geometry and calibrated Type 2 sound level meters for residential decibel reduction experiments.

Wind Tunnel & Manometer

Test ducting equipped with hot-wire anemometers and differential digital manometers to measure airflow CFM and static pressure drops across various filter media.

Safety Commitment

Workshop Safety & PPE Requirements

Working around high-voltage power supplies and molten solder requires disciplined laboratory hygiene. All participants receive safety orientation prior to touching live circuits.

  • Fume Extraction: Every solder bench is equipped with dedicated active carbon and HEPA fume extraction nozzles.
  • ESD Protection: Grounded antistatic bench mats, wrist straps, and conductive floor coatings prevent silicon damage.
  • Isolation Switches: Emergency stop buttons at each bench immediately disconnect AC line voltage.
