Tuition & Enrollment Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: August 28, 2026 • Think Workcore Pty Ltd (Seaton, Victoria)

1. Overview of Workshop Enrollment Policy

Because our workshop programs (including the 3-Day Hardware Masterclass, Residential Micro-Mining Lab, and Immersion Clinics) maintain strict class caps of 6 to 10 participants, reserving a bench prevents other candidates from enrolling. This policy outlines our cancellation timeframes, rescheduling terms, and refund eligibility under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Cancellation Timeframes & Refund Eligibility

  • More than 21 days before cohort start: Full 100% refund of all tuition and deposits paid, minus a $50 AUD administrative processing fee. Alternatively, you may transfer 100% of your tuition to any future cohort within 12 months at zero penalty.
  • Between 8 and 21 days before cohort start: 50% refund of total tuition paid, or an 80% tuition credit applied toward a future workshop cohort.
  • 7 days or fewer before cohort start: Non-refundable. At this late stage, workshop workstations, dedicated test hashboards, consumable kits, and catering have already been procured and allocated to your name.

3. Participant Substitutions & Transfers

If you are unable to attend your registered cohort, you may designate a qualified colleague or apprentice to attend in your place at any time up to 24 hours prior to Day 1 start, at zero additional charge. Please notify us via email at hello@think-workcore.click with the replacement attendee's full name, contact details, and emergency contact information.

4. One-on-One Engineering Consultations & Audits

For private technical consultations and facility site audits:

  • Prior to Work Ingestion: Cancellations made at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled consultation session receive a 100% full refund.
  • After Engineering Review Has Commenced: If our engineers have already ingested and analyzed your Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs) or utility capacity documents, the deposit portion ($400 AUD) is retained to cover technical review labor, and the remaining fee balance is refunded.

5. No-Shows & Missed Sessions

Failure to attend a scheduled workshop session without prior written notice ("no-show") forfeits all tuition paid. If an unforeseen medical emergency or severe travel disruption occurs, please submit formal documentation within 7 business days, and our management team will review your case for discretionary transfer to a subsequent cohort.

6. Cancellations or Rescheduling by Think Workcore

In the rare event that Think Workcore must postpone or reschedule a workshop cohort due to extreme weather, safety alerts, or instructor illness, participants will be offered:

  • Guaranteed priority placement in the next scheduled cohort date of their choice, OR
  • A complete 100% refund of all fees paid, processed immediately.

Think Workcore is not liable for non-refundable travel, flight, or accommodation costs booked independently by attendees.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are strictly non-refundable:

  • Consumable lab materials (solder paste, flux, test PCBs, thermal pads) once used during class sessions.
  • Completed engineering audit dossiers and custom facility calculation reports once delivered in writing.
  • Administrative processing fees for late withdrawal requests.

8. Refund Process & Timeframe

To request a cancellation or refund:

  1. Send an email to hello@think-workcore.click with your enrollment invoice number, participant name, and the reason for the request.
  2. Our admissions desk will confirm receipt and assess eligibility within 2 business days.
  3. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (Direct EFT or Credit Card) within 5 to 10 business days.
